Our prestigious 12 Week Certificate is internationally recognised, and has been the first step on the culinary journey of many well-known chefs, food producers and food writers around the world. The Ballymaloe Cookery School Alumni are a wide network of people from all walks of life and all age-groups. Each year we are delighted to invite many distinguished guest chefs to participate in our school curriculum.
David Stanton TD is an elected parliamentary public representative for the Cork East Constituency and a resident of Midleton. In May 1916 he was appointed Minister of State in the Department of Justice and Equality with special responsibility for Equality, Immigration and Integration. He previously served as Chairperson of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality and dealt with an array of policy and legislative issues in areas such as legal capacity, domestic and sexual violence, prostitution, bankruptcy, firearms, penal reform, new Garda Authority and Human Rights and Equality Commission.
